Welcome to the OPSIS Weblink Demonstration Now you can support your clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In this demonstration "Grabbit & Dunne Solicitors" are a fictitious legal practice whose simple one-page web site is represented here. This page demonstrates how your law firm's web site can incorporate OPSIS Weblink to provide Online Case Information services to your clients, and will show what they see when logged into OPSIS Weblink. Just think of this page as if it were one of the pages in your company web site to which you add our simple link. Since it will be a page in your own web site, you (or your website designer) can design the appearance and text content exactly as you wish. OPSIS Weblink - For Online Case Enquiries

The Internet-enabled OPSIS Weblink enables data selected from your OPSIS Solicitor Case Manager (SCM) system to be published securely onto the Internet where your customers or other interested parties (e.g. estate agents) can login and access it, allowing case enquiries and retrieval of relevant records and information.

OPSIS Weblink can assist your firm by reducing the need for clients to contact fee earners for the same information. Using a secure website, only authorised subscribers can view case information relevant to their particular matter(s). All case and matter information published using the system is predetermined by the firm and is sourced from the SCM database, ensuring that details reflect the most recent updates.

Your practices staff, authorised associates and clients will be able to use OPSIS Weblink to remotely enquire on the progress of matters at their leisure, for example:-

• Private clients and for example, estate agents can access details of their ongoing Conveyancing cases.
• Provide instant updates to Insurance Companies and Referrers of PI work on the status of specific cases.
• Corporate clients can access the progress of their Debt Recovery cases.

Client access is restricted by personal login names and passwords which you control, so that individuals can view only their own matters, whilst Associates (such as Estate Agents) can obtain information on the progress of any number of matters they are involved in.

You determine what data is uploaded, when (manually or automatically), and which information users may view.

• Corporate Identity: Your company name, logo and basic contact information can be incorporated into the interface.
• Login Screen and Home Page Messages: Create your own welcome message or special instructions on the login and home pages of the Weblink interface.
• Full Security Model: allows different permissions to control whether Clients may view case document records, view Case contacts & view individual Case details (includes controlling upload of User Defineable fields). You have total control over the registration of new users, and allocation or renewal of their login details.
• Web Groups: Groups of web users can be set up (e.g. Web Clients, Web Estate Agents).
• Online Case Document Request: Clients can use Weblink to view/select from the list of available documents and send a request to the case Fee Earner for copies.
• Online Case Enquiry Request: Clients can use Weblink to send a “Case enquiry” to the Fee Earner.
• Online New Business Enquiry: Clients can use Weblink to send a “New business enquiry”.
• Simple and Advanced Client/Case Search functions.
• Automatic Upload at regular intervals you define (e.g. every 4 hours).
• Tailorable Help System: A link from the Case details and Case enquiry pages of Weblink can be set up to a “help” page for each Case Type. This allows you to create Help pages for your clients tailored specifically to your business, e.g. to explain conveyancing steps, or provide additional instructions and contact information.
• Auto Permissions: Commonly used permissions automatically created on Cases and flagged for upload. This function speeds up and simplifies the process of preparing new cases ready for viewing online.
• Case Upload Status Report: Gives clear indication of the number of cases uploaded and their status.

How to view the Weblink demonstration

OPSIS Weblink can easily be integrated into your company web site, as a simple link applied to text, or as part of your website menu buttons. When clicked, the main Weblink interface will pop-open.

Within the Weblink interface screen we can tailor the header bar to show your logo, company name, and basic contact details. The Weblink Welcome Message and Home page instructions can also be tailored by you. Privacy of Information

OPSIS Weblink uses the Internet industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for authenticated and encrypted transmission of data from your offices to the Weblink Server database.

SSL prevents viewing of sensitive case information by hackers, exactly the same as is done, for example by any professional shopping web sites or banks that request your credit card information.

Peace of mind with a Secure system

Verified identity is an important consideration for solicitors firms who must comply with the Data Protection Act.

When Weblink starts, the customers Internet browser might (unless, as is usually the case, their PC already trusts Comodo verified sites) display a message that Weblink has a Certificate proving its authenticity and it asks whether they trust this information in order to initiate the secure connection.

Once the customer acknowledges the certificate, the Weblink window will display a "closed padlock" symbol [] in the status bar at the bottom of the window which indicates that a private SSL connection has been established.

Your associates and customers who use Weblink are safe in the knowledge that they are doing business via OPSIS, with your company and not an imposter, that the website is genuine, and that the information they are receiving or sending cannot be intercepted or decrypted by anyone else.

The Weblink data is located on a dedicated remote hosting computer (the Weblink Server) located in a secure facility owned by a specialised hosting company carefully selected by OPSIS for the purpose (see Weblink Technical Specification for full details).
